Learn why investing in ENGIE Brasil Energia

ENGIE Brasil Energia S.A. is an infrastructure investment platform in the energy sector, engaged in generation, commercialization, trading, and transmission activities, as well as natural gas transportation through Transportadora Associada de Gás S.A. - TAG, in conjunction with other partners. As one of the country's largest private energy producers, it implements and operates projects in renewable sources such as hydroelectric, wind, solar, biomass, and small hydroelectric plants. The company operates with transparency, financial discipline, environmental respect, community support, and a focus on operational efficiency as enablers for long-term growth.

ENGIE Brasil Energia is controlled by the French group ENGIE, a global leader in independent energy production with operations in around 30 countries, with a strong presence in electricity, natural gas, and energy services.

At the end of 3Q24, our total installed capacity reached 9,290.2 MW, operating a generating park of 11,000.0 MW, consisting of 109 plants, including 11 hydroelectric plants and 98 complementary plants - three biomass, 69 wind, two Small Hydroelectric Plants (SHPs), and 25 solar - of which 105 are fully owned by the company, and four are operated through partnerships with other companies. In the transmission segment, the Gralha Azul, Novo Estado and Gavião Real Transmission Systems are in full operation.

At the Jirau Hydroelectric Plant, located on the Madeira River in Porto Velho (RO), with a capacity of 3,750 MW, our controlling entity holds a 40% stake, representing an installed capacity of 1,500 MW in that plant. When combined with ENGIE Brasil Energia's total capacity, it reaches 10,790.2 MW across 110 plants, corresponding to a 5.2% share in the Brazilian market.

We have 100% of our installed capacity in the country sourced from clean, renewable sources with low greenhouse gas emissions, a position reinforced by the construction of new wind and solar plants in the Northeast of the country.

Over the more than 20 years of operating in the Brazilian market, we have more than doubled our installed capacity, with high operational performance and a consistent average growth in financial indicators of net revenue, EBITDA and net profit - demonstrating sustainable financial performance. These factors and a clear commercial strategy allow the Company to remain well positioned to capture new business opportunities.
