Country Manager of ENGIE Brasil, Maurício is also Vice-President and Managing Director Renewables Latin America. He is also Chairman of several companies of the Group: ENGIE Brasil Energia, Transportadora Associada de Gás – TAG and Jirau Energia, responsible for Jirau hydropower plant.

Maurício was for 10 years Chairman of the Board of the National System Operator (ONS) of the Brazilian Interconnected System and since 2017 serves as member of the Board, representing generation companies. Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Gama Filho (RJ) and of Systems Analysis from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC RJ), besides MBA in Business Administration from COPPEAD, business school of Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), and in Corporate Finance from Berkeley University (EUA).

Attended the Senior Management program at Harvard Business School (2019 to 2022) and is certified as Member of Board of Directors by IBGC - Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (2024).

Eduardo Sattamini is Chief Executive Officer at ENGIE Brasil Energia as well as Managing Director for Brazil of the Renewables and Thermal & Supply business units. Previously, he has held the position of Investor Relations Officer of ENGIE Brasil Energia S.A.

He joined ENGIE in 2000, where he worked in the areas of management, business development and finance. He held the positions of Chief Financial Officer of Energia Sustentável do Brasil, Director for LATAM at Tractebel Gás Engineering GmbH, Director for Oil and Gas of Leme Engenharia Ltda, Senior Manager for Business Development of GDF Suez International, among others. On December 21, 2009, he was elected Investor Relations Officer of ENGIE Brasil Energia. He is statutory director on the Board of Directors of Itá Energética S.A., Transportadora Aliança de Gás -S.A. – TAG, and Usina Hidrelétrica de Jirau.

Before joining ENGIE, he worked in the naval sector, holding various managerial functions in shipping, shipbuilding, and maritime support industries, among them Managing Director of Metalnave S.A. and Chief Financial Officer of Indústrias Verolme-Ishibras S.A.

Eduardo Sattamini graduated in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica, Rio de Janeiro, where he also concluded a master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finances. He obtained a master’s in management from the University of London where he completed the London Business School’s Sloan Fellowship Master Program.

Gustavo Labanca is the CEO of Transportadora Associada de Gás - TAG since June 2019, after its acquisition by ENGIE and CDPQ. He was previously Chief Business Development Officer for ENGIE in Brazil, responsible for the organic (greenfield projects) and inorganic growth (M&A) of the Company in the Country in several business lines, such as gas & power infrastructure, renewable power generation and energy solutions. Before that, he held the positions of Business Development Manager, Financial Analyst, Senior Finance Manager, VP of Finance & AIFA (Acquisition, Investments and Finance Advisory) and VP of Business Development at ENGIE.

Labanca is graduated in Electronic Engineering from Gama Filho University and has a postgraduate qualification in Corporate Finance & Valuation from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV - RJ). He has also a MBA in Nuclear Engineering from ABDAN / ABDIB / COPPE (Rio de Janeiro Federal University – UFRJ) and an Executive MBA from COPPEAD, the business school of UFRJ.

Jacques-Olivier Klotz has taken the position of Chief Executive Officer at ENGIE Solutions in Brazil in August 2021. He entered the group in 2002 and had P&L management responsibilities within INEO before moving to ENGIE to develop Energy Solutions internationally.

Engineer in technological solutions and nearly 20 years with the Group, Jacques-Olivier Klotz’s experience has largely involved international development with a focus on Africa and Latin America.

Clarice is the Chief Executive Officer at ENGIE Soluções em Operação & Manutenção and VP of Operations, Projects and HSE Networks Americas. She has 24 years’ experience in multinational groups, having worked in Brazil, Europe and Asia. With a 20-year history in the Upstream Oil & Gas market, she performed, among other roles, as Managing Director of the joint-venture Altera&Ocyan, Design Director for the construction of the Pioneiro de Libra FPSO, Sembcorp Marine shipyard, Singapore, and Commercial Director of the joint venture North Sea Producer, UK. She also has three years’ experience in the mining industry, where she was Executive Manager at Vale S.A.

Clarice has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), with an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and executive training in Extraction Industry and Sustainable Development from Columbia University, in Innovation from Stanford University, and in Leadership from the London Business School.

Edson Silva is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Jirau Energia and a member of the Executive Committee of ENGIE in Brazil.

In 1982, he started his professional career at Eletrosul, working in the operation and planning areas. In 1994, joined the Electrical Engineering Department at UFSC as a professor in undergraduate and graduate programs, publishing several articles in scientific journals. He is the author of the book “Formação de Preços em Mercados de Energia Elétrica”, and provided consulting services to several companies and institutions of Brazilian Electrical Sector, including ONS and ANEEL.

In 2000, Edson Silva joined ENGIE Brasil Energia Company, taking the position as head of Regulatory and Market Affairs Department. Later, became Chief Strategy and Regulation Officer, leading the Regulatory, Portfolio Management, Information Technology, Strategy, and Innovation areas. He was Chairman of the board of APINE association. Electrical engineer with 40 years of experience in the electricity industry, graduated from the “Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina” (UFSC) with master and doctorate degrees.

He attended several courses oriented to business management, highlighting “General Management Program” in the European Centre for Executive Development - CEDEDP/INSEAD.

Gil Maranhão is a member of the Executive Committee of ENGIE in Brazil, being responsible for Communications, Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Carbon. He also coordinates these areas at the regional hub of ENGIE South America. Gil joined ENGIE in 1996, in the position of delegate manager for Brazil at Tractebel Energy and Gas International, a company with registered offices in Belgium. He worked on business development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate social responsibility and commercial and institutional relations, as well as in Boards of ENGIE´s companies in Brazil.

Currently, he is an alternate director on the Board of Directors of ENGIE Brasil Energia. He is also an elected member of the of the International Hydropower Association, a member of the Board of the city of Rio de Janeiro and an Official of the Order of Leopold King of Belgium.

Gil Maranhão graduated in Civil Engineering with an extension course in Construction and Statistics. He has an MBA in Capital Markets and has had prior experience at investment banks and in civil construction.

Sophie Quarré de Verneuil is Director of People and Culture at ENGIE Brasil and Vice President of Human Resources for the Latam Region. Sophie joined the ENGIE Group in 2008, as Head of HR Prospective and Stakes, before joining Jean-François Cirelli’s executive staff, until 2013.

After contributing for five years to the transformation of the BtoC activities in France, notably as Director of Customer Services, she came back to the HR line in 2019, combining the responsibilities of HR Director and Director of Communication for the Business Unit France Networks. In January 2020, she joined ENGIE Solutions as Transformation Director, also in charge of strategy and communication.

Pierre Leblanc was appointed CFO ENGIE Brasil and Finance Vice President Southam as of March1st.

Pierre joined the Group in 2004, as Head of Internal Audit for the Trading Department of Gaz de France in Paris. In 2006, as part of the B3G Division, he was first in charge of projects, then became CFO within B3G´s European Key Account Sales Division and, in 2012, Performance and IT Director for the Marketing & Sales business line of the Energy Europe Division.

In 2014, he moved to the B2C France Business Unit, as CFO also in charge of Corporate Functions for ENGIE IT, within Global Business Support. Since July 2020, he has held the position of Head of GBS Finance Services.

He joined the group in 2009, Yuri Ledra is responsible for ENGIE Group’s legal and ethical questions in Brazil. He worked for 4 years as a lawyer in relevant transactions of ENGIE in the Middle East, including the construction of the Mirfa (1600 MW) thermoelectric power plant in Abu Dhabi and SMN Power Holding’s IPO on the Muscat (Oman) securities market. Later, he was legal counsel for ENGIE Africa (based in Paris) and responsible for the success of ENGIE’s first Kahone and Kaél photovoltaic solar project in Senegal (60MW), financed by IFC, the European Development Bank and PROPARCO.

He graduated in Law and Business Management and completed a specialization program in civil and corporate law at PUC-PR.

Sebastian Pascal Duffé is Chief Acquisitions, Investment and Financial Advice (AIFA) at ENGIE Brasil. He joined the Group in 2017 as Senior Manager of the AIFA team in Rio de Janeiro. Within the Group, Sebastian held senior AIFA-team positions in Brazil and the US, as well as Business Development/Mergers & Acquisitions positions before joining the global M&A team in 2021. In 2023, Sebastian accumulated the positions of Senior M&A Officer Brazil and Chief AIFA Officer Brazil. Sebastian’s career in the energy industry began with German utilities company E.ON, where he held several Finance area jobs. In 2012, Sebastian came to Brazil as an expat to led the Business Development, Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions functions at the joint-venture formed by E.ON and MPX (now ENEVA), before joining ENGIE. Sebastian studied International Business and Management, emphasis on Finance, in the Netherlands and Hong Kong.
